The First 20 Facebook Employees: Where Are They Now?
You may not have heard of the others, but all of them left a valuable mark. They were responsible for everything you've come to love, like the photo app, the ability to tag friends, and even Facebook's blue/white color scheme. Many of Facebook's first employees are no longer at the company. Some left to join reputable startups like Twitter; others started their own companies like Quora and YouTube. Those who remained at Facebook now have executive positions. Out of the first 20 employees, only two were women. The First 20 Facebook Employees: Where Are They Now?

You can thank engineer Scott Marlette for being able to visually stalk all of your friends. He created Facebook's photo application.

Apples new iPen
Apple is really trying to keep the ball rolling on innovation. Leaked images of Apples new iPen have hit the net, and it seems like Apple is targeting designers and artists with this new tool which can scan any object for its RGB color, much like the color scanners in Home Depot. I wouldn't be surprised if they released some sort of app before the pen hits the market which uses your iPhone to get an exact RGB color match for web design... they are really trying to change the world, again.

Primordial Soup of the Earth........
A Muslim friend of mine insists that scientists have been unable to create life from the elements that were present in the "primordial soup of the earth." Is this true?
I think what he means is that scientists cannot recreate how life began, so God did it. It really has nothing to do with him being Muslim, other than the fact that we were debating about Islam's creation beliefs vs. science, and this came up.
This is not a arguement over religions since all religions have the same concept of first life created by GOD but Science contradicts that......so my friends shoot your comments now.............as Usual......MK

United Nations has declared a state of famine
The United Nations has declared a state of famine in some parts of southern Somalia where the worst drought in over half a century is already being blamed for thousands of deaths.
An estimated 3.7 million people, or more than one-third of Somalia's population, is in need of emergency aid, the UN's food agency said on Wednesday."Every day of delay in assistance is literally a matter of life or death for children and their families in the famine-affected areas," Mark Bowden, the UN humanitarian co-ordinator for Somalia, said."It is likely that tens of thousands will already have died, the majority of those being children."The UN has appealed for $300m to help victims of the drought, and aid groups have criticised the slow response of many Western governments to fund the shortfall.Al Jazeera's Mohamad Adow reports from Nairobi, Kenya. This I Believe

LONELY..................MK
I am a stranger in this world... and will continue to be a complete stranger until death snatches me out of this world and carries me away to my real homeland.
The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.

LONELY....................MK
Behind my smile is everything you’ll never understand.
There’s nothing more depressing than having it all and still feeling sad.
I don’t know if I’m getting better or just used to the pain....
